A Laid-Back Celebration of Style and Performance
The R1 Concepts Crew headed down to sunny San Diego, California for Autofashion VIP Fest 2025. Hosted at AleSmith Brewery, the event brought together high-end styling, detailed craftsmanship, and an atmosphere that felt relaxed and welcoming. The venue was filled with builds that combined premium styling with thoughtful customization and showcased the creativity and precision this community is known for.
R1 Concepts in the Mix
Fresh from SEMA, our team was excited to keep the momentum going in Southern California. We spent the day connecting with enthusiasts, meeting new faces, and enjoying the relaxed environment that makes VIP Fest special. The mix of great food, good drinks, and eye-catching builds created the perfect setting to share what R1 Concepts is all about.
Several cars at the event were equipped with R1 Concepts GEO-Carbon Series Rotors and R1 Performance Sport Pads. These components deliver improved cooling, consistent bite, and smooth braking that suits both daily driving and show-level performance. The clean rotor designs also add visual appeal behind premium wheels, making them a favorite among VIP and performance builders.
A Moment with the R1 Family
One of the highlights of the day was spending time with R1 Concepts ambassador Chris Lerma (@2_illegal_wrx). Chris joined us at the booth and took in the event atmosphere, calling it one of his favorite shows. With good people, amazing builds, and an inviting environment, it is easy to see why VIP Fest leaves a lasting impression on anyone who attends.
