Packer

Scan and verify SKUs to ensure that orders are accurate

Verify label item to ensure they match the description on the order

Pack orders following department procedures and company standards for protection and presentation

Apply shipping labels and packing list accurately

Maintain a clean and fully stocked packing station 

Communicate with the lead and supervisor regarding any issues or discrepancies

Safely operate warehouse handling equipment (e.g. packing station)

Ensure department daily goals are met

Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Follow all safety protocols in compliance with department policies, as well as federal and state regulations

Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures while always maintaining professionalism

Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop additional skills as the company continues to grow

Assist in other warehouse departments as needed

Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Computer literate with the ability to use shipping systems and handheld scanners

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manuals

Attendance at work and punctuality are an essential function of this position

Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and work in hot or cold temperatures
