Packer

• Scan and verify skus to ensure that orders are accurate

• Pack orders following department procedures and company standards for protection and presentation

• Apply shipping labels and packing list accurately

• Verify that brake pad sleeves and labels match the description on the customer orders

• Utilize multiple shipping software’s such as: UPS Worldship, Endicia, and our own software DREAM

• Maintain a clean and fully stocked packing station 

• Communicate with the lead and supervisor regarding any issues or discrepancies

• Safely operate warehouse handling equipment (e.g. packing station)

• Ensure department daily goals are met

• Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Follow all safety protocols in compliance with department policies, as well as federal and state regulations

• Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures while always maintaining professionalism

• Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop additional skills as the company continues to grow

• Assist in other warehouse departments as needed

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manuals

• Attendance at work and punctuality are an essential function of this position

• Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and work in hot or cold temperatures

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
