Posi Quiet brake pads are manufactured using the same positive molding process utilized by Original Equipment suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout the pad, resulting in even wear and performance characteristics throughout the life of the brake pad.
The number one cause for customer returns are noise and vibration. Centric Parts has recognized these issues and is constantly improving its products to eliminate these issues. Posi Quiet brake friction features either precision cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims; these small details ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration. In addition to these features Centric Parts has added a scorching process to all of its Posi Quiet brake pads. This additional process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to greatly accelerate the break-in process.
Defective Items
Defective items may only be exchanged and must be made within 1 year of the purchase. Defective items must be returned with the same items included in the original order. If an item arrives in an unacceptable condition as a result of a manufacturer defect, we will send you a pre-paid return shipping label.
If you request an exchange, we will ship your new item after we receive and process your return. Please allow 5-10 business days to process your return once it has been received. If you need a replacement item right away, we suggest placing a new order on our website, or email us at sales@r1concepts.com or call us at 1-888-712-6623 for expedited ordering. Express shipping charges may apply for rush orders.
All items returned for exchange require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To get an RA#, email sales@r1concepts.com with your order number. State the reason for the exchange and your phone number so we can contact you. Also, attach any images as necessary. We'll call you or email you within 24-48 hours (allow additional time for weekends and holidays) with an RA#. Shipments without a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#) will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
r1concepts.com will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances. Nor will r1concepts.com reimburse for any damages incurred during installation or use of product.
