With the addition of the Gridlife Touring Cup (GLTC), Cars and Coffee, and the growing car show, this event had everything an enthusiast or professional could want in a single exciting package.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3464\" height=\"2598\" src=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pic-1.jpg\" alt=\"Circuit of the Americas front wall.\" class=\"wp-image-26911\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5760\" height=\"3840\" src=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pic-2.jpg\" alt=\"2020 Super Lap Battle: Circuit of the Americas, TX event place.\" class=\"wp-image-26922\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at what we experienced at this stunning Motorsport event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-3-000-spectators-and-growing\">3,000 Spectators and Growing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lone Star Drift teamed up for the second year in a row and 742 Marketing helped bring the car show to life. This year, there were over 45 time attack drivers, over 15 Gridlife GTLC competitors, over 120 registered cars for the show, and over 900 cars for the Cars and Coffee event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1616\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pic-3.jpg\" alt=\"2020 Super Lap Battle: Circuit of the Americas, TX audiences.\" class=\"wp-image-26912\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> The Super Lap Battle continues to grow. Not only were there 3,000 spectators in attendance, but we were also proud to host two World Time Attack Legends: Brett Dickie and Barton Mower from Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1584\" height=\"1059\" src=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pic-4.jpg\" alt=\"2020 Super Lap Battle: Circuit of the Americas, TX car participants.\" class=\"wp-image-26913\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> And it wasn&#8217;t just about the race! A car show throughout the weekend drew quite a bit of attention (and even raised some money for a local charity). It was everything an enthusiast could hope for and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-nick-stentiford-s-honda-s2000\"><strong>Nick Stentiford&#8217;s Honda S2000<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nick Stentiford represented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"DFB-Blog R1Concepts 1776999712\">R1Concepts<\/a> by competing in the Gridlife Touring Cup and finished in the top 10. Stentiford competed in the time attack format last year at this event on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.r1concepts.com\/geomet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"DFB-Blog R1 Carbon GEOMET Series Rotors 1776999712\">R1 Carbon GEOMET Series Rotors<\/a>.
