By now there are close to 3,000 Nissan GTR R35 sold in the U.S. The GTR R35 first landed in the U.S. shores in July of 2008. There’s been many mini GTR R35 meets in North America, but I think SP Engineering threw the biggest yet on September 19th, 2009 at SP’s facility in the City of Industry. I counted 30 GTR R35s, 2 R32s, 2 R33s, and 1 R34. I had a great time out there meeting the GTR drivers and SP staff. Saw many highly modified GTRs with crazy horsepower, many from the works of SP themselves.
