I bought R1 Concepts premium slotted/drilled rotors for my fully restroed 69 Dart GT. I drive the car very little, it spends most of it's time in the garage. I estimated that I've got 8,000 miles on the car in the 2 years since I installed the rotors, but that's probably generous. The rotors are now warped and my front end shakes whenever I apply the brakes at high speed. I came back to the R1 site to return the rotors under warranty, but their warranty is only for a year and only provides for exchanges anyway. I wouldn't want to put these rotors back on my car, so I'll take a loss instead. I gave the product a rating of 3 because they did, in fact, work for a couple years. But rotors shouldn't warp under any conditions and mine were lightly used at best. Also, my experience with slotted/drilled rotors was not positive... stick with the smooth rotors... there was no difference in stopping power on my car and they are a fraction of the cost. - Review submitted: - 06 February 2012
