Installed the R1 Concepts Eline Slotted rotors on all 4 corners with Hawk brake Pads. Talk about a big difference. The vehicle actually stops now. You will not be disappointed at all. A must buy. More hardware is needed if purchase. Package quanity per vehicle says 1 and should be TWO...

10k miles ago I installed my e-line rotors and pads front and back, and what can I say? I love the way pads bite the rotors as well as very predictable and firm brake feel! Im an agressive driver so autocrossing is next, and with my new wheels it looks amazing!!
So far I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

I bought the E-Line Slotted Rotors paired with Hawk HPS pads for all four corners of my car almost 2 years and 30,000 miles ago. I drive mostly highway and city, however I love a hard drive in the canyons and I have competed in several autocrosses in my car. All I can say is that these brakes are awesome! They LOVE heat. The hotter they get, the better they work. After almost 30,000 miles of hard driving, the front rotors are just a tiny bit warped (only really noticeable under braking down long hills). That's ok by me though. I will definitely be buying another set of rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

I had these rotors for a week now, it's supper nice, better braking, no noises just much better ride compare to a stock rotors.I send 4hours reading bmw forums, and came across R1 product, did more reading about it, and couldn't be happier with my decision, thanks to people who write review!!!!

Now that I have about 1000 miles on the R1 Concepts Eline slotted rotors and Posi-Quiet pads, I feel that I can accurately assess these parts to help other drivers with their decisions.
1) Price - R1 Concepts had the best price for a full 4-corner pad and rotor set, comparing local auto parts, my Infiniti dealer and other E-Bay and online sellers.
2) Ordering - SIMPLE. I ended up completing the order with a phone call, but just because I wanted to be sure that R1 Concepts was legit, and that I hadn't screwed up the order in any way.
3) Delivery - Not as quick as I would have liked, but faster than R1 Concepts promised. I ordered on a Tuesday, wanted the hardware by Friday so that I could do the change over on Saturday. It was promised for the Wednesday 1wk+1Dy after I ordered and it came on Monday (6 days after I ordered).
4) Fitment - PERFECT. Really made the chromed stock 17" wheels pop. The rotors have an excellent finish and really shine. After 1000 miles, I don' t have any of that annoying surface rust that the OEM rotors had. Also, I purchased the Brake Caliper paint from R1 Concepts (red), and that really made the calipers look great.
5) Brake Hardware - the replacement hardware for the rear calipers fit perfectly, but for the front, not so much. I decided to reuse the OEM hardware because the shim clips wouldn't stay in place on the front calipers.
6) Run and Ride - These brakes stop 100% better than the OEM pads. The Posi-Quiet pads leave very little brake dust on the wheels. The slotted ELine rotors look and grab fantasically.
And, there is NO NOISE at all. I had spent nearly $900 to replace the OEM brakes at the dealer and they never stopped making noise. The dealer said that they couldn't fix it, so I lived like that for nearly 20,000 miles.

I first found out R1 Concepts on a forum and I was in desperate need of rotors for an upcoming track day. I at first thought the price was too low and you get what you pay for, if they lasted a year I would be happy. I didn't have the new rotors[eline], race pads [mintek M1155] and brake fluid [ATE super blue] on my car for more than two weeks before my track day on the Streets of Willow Springs and was a little concerned about the rotors and if they would take the punishment I was about to inflict on them because I had not the time to fully bed in the pads. After the first session I came in and thought wow the brakes didn't fade, took a quick look and the rotors showed signs of having seen a lot of heat but that was it. I went out 4 more times and the braking just kept getting better and my confidence in the brakes got higher.
On the street they function just like any normal set of rotors but with better feel. I have done 5 track days and driven several thousand miles with these rotors in two years and they have not warped and the wear is good. When the time comes to replace them I will surely be using R1 concept rotors, for what I paid for them they are a great value and the quality is fantastic!

After some research on drilled and slotted rotors I decided that slotted only is the way to go. I gave R1 Concepts a try because they were well recommended on many forums and car sites. I have to say, I'm very please with my decision. The Eline slotted rotors I got are great. They came with a shinny silver coating which I believe is the zinc plating. They stop really well and they look pretty cool behind the alloy wheels. The Posi-Quiet semi-metallic pads are great as well. They somewhat dust less than the stock pads. But who cares about brake dust, you wash your car anyway. Most importantly, after nearly 8k miles, my brakes are still noise free.

These rotors are great on my truck, they stop great. I tow a boat once in a while, my old factory rotors did not last me as long as these. I look forward to getting a set for my 97 vette.

Decided on the E lines slotted only with posi quiet ceramic pads which was recommended by the helpful sales reps at R1. Works great! Bought the car used when it had only 28k miles. Never stopped so good until now. I should of went to you guys way earlier! Ive had my brakes changed out about 3 times with OEM parts and decided to go with better performance. Glad I found you guys. I will be getting some for my wifes car by next week. Would definately recommend you guys.
