With the SEMA Show being the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, the industry enthusiasts from around the world prepared year long for the big show that takes up all the halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. For first timers, it can and most surely will be an overwhelming experience once entering the halls. Once the sense of overwhelmed feelings go away, they get into the mode that many veterans do: The opportunity of seeing beautifully done builds, while at the same time networking with the industry that makes every automotive companies wheel spin.
This year at the R1 Concepts booth, we had a Ford Mustang wrapped in Blue Chrome, and our sponsored Formula Drift Nissan 370z, both equipped with R1 Brakes. The beautiful Erica Law and Brittani Paige were on stand by to talk with industry enthusiasts and get in that photo op with our displays on hand. On the featured floor outside of the halls, we had several R1 Equipped Rides throughout.
The not so new trend of wide body and bolt on fenders definitely was the talk of the show yet again. Liberty Walk, Rocket Bunny, and RWB took over the Feature and the Booth section by the masses. With new versions coming out every year, we don’t see this trend coming to an end anytime soon, and not sure we would want to, wider makes everything better right?
Overall a great experience, and a great show. We met with many old friends and made a lot of new contacts. We look forward to next years SEMA and what the show season for 2016 will bring.
