The Late Paul Walker – More than an Automotive Icon

What can we say about the Late Paul Walker?

Playing the role as Brian Earl Spilner aka Brian O’Connor, in the hit movie Fast and the Furious, Paul has been an Icon in the automotive industry. Most people thought that he just played the role as a racer when in fact; Paul was actually a real professional race car driver.

He also was a huge car enthusiast. He had an amazing stable of cars, such as a R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R, S15 Nissan Silvia, RHD Toyota Supra, and a Porsche GT3. He’s even competed in many sanctioned race events.

But there’s more than acting and owning beautiful cars when it comes to Mr. Walker. Before his passing, he created the “Reach Out Worldwide” charity. He wanted to help those who were affected by the disaster typhoon Haiyan had left behind in the Philippines.  Please visit and support Paul Walker’s Charity.

We wanted to pay tribute and respect to both Paul Walker and Roger Rodas, who was also involved in the fatal car accident.  So we had to do it R1 Concepts style…..Our condolences goes out to the Walker and Rodas Families.  Paul and Roger will never be forgotten as their legacy will live on.

Rest in Peace Paul Walker and Roger Rodas.  With our final goodbye, we will leave you with a quote for the beloved Paul Walker.

“If one day the speed kills me, do not cry because I was smiling” – Paul Walker (1973-2013)
