We were out looking for a new face to be our official 2009 R1 Model. We wanted to give an opportunity to a lady who wants to be in the import modeling scene but never tried it. We also wanted to see how far R1 Concepts can help her. We had lots of ladies that applied but we could only pick one to be an official 2009 R1 Concepts model. Out of everyone, Amy Fay stood out the best. When I got the chance to meet her, she’s nothing but a sweetheart. We had Amy do her debut at our booth at HIN Night Shift car show to see how the crowd reacts to her. The end result turn out that everyone couldn’t get enough of her. I was getting emails, phone calls, and blog responces asking whose the new girl at the R1 booth. We even had Sasha Singleton and Alex Lynn, 2 famous faces in the import modeling scene, but people wanted to see more of Amy. Hello Miss Amy Fay, how are you doing today?

Hello! Im doing great!

You did your first ever car show and it was with us, so how was it?

The best first experience ever! I got a chance to meet with Sasha Singleton, Alex Lynn, and the wonderful men of R1 Concepts!

You’ve worked the booth like a pro. Everyone that dropped by loved your appearance. Did you get any bad experience from any of the car show attendees?

AHAHA. Oh man, I can’t explain. I had a guy walking back and forth to the booth, asking me if I would try my tongue ring on him….

What the… you have a tongue ring? NICE!

Yess! It glows in the dark!

No wonder.. it was HIN “Night” Shift. Haha. So what would you say is your best feature?

I love my nose! It’s not the average vietnamese round noses. Hehe.

Maybe it’s the French side of you.

Haha… Thats what my dad says.

Alex Lynn

Alex Lynn is one of the best models we ever worked with. She was very helpful when it came to picking out outfits for the car shows and the photo shoot. She also helped us get Sasha Singleton and Lisa Kaye to work with us. Alex pretty much helped me on everything regarding the models when it came to the HIN Night Shift car show & Funkmaster Flex car show. When I saw her in person I was surprised how tall she was. But once you meet her she’s one of the most down to Earth person and the biggest goof ball you will ever meet. Just don’t get on her bad side! Also this girl can eat! She is leaving the whole modeling and go-go scene for awhile because of personal reasons. Her last appearance was with us, R1 Concepts, so we feel very honored. You will be missed Alex and we can’t wait when you come back!

The most basic question first… So how did you get into modeling?

I got discovered by Overboost and did a car show for them when I was 17.

Where did they find you?

I think I had an online profile somewhere, I don’t remember.

We know you do more then just modeling. You also go-go in some of Hollywood’s best nighclubs on the weekends. Which one do you like more? Modeling or go-go?

I like them both really. It really depends on who you work for and with whom.

Let’s say if this Saturday you had to either do a show for R1 Concepts or go-go…. which one would you pick?

Haha…. I would do R1 first and then rush off to gogo. The timing would be perfect! Because most car shows are during the day and then clubs at night. Wait…. I mean R1 Concepts only of course!

Yeah whatevers! Do you have a signature move when you go-going (not sure if i just made up a new word there)?

Haha… not really, I just dance with the beat!

What’s up with the boots with the fur? Do you know how that ever got started?

Well, before the go-gos used to wear these HUGE boots, and for different outfits you have to match the different boot color. So I don’t know how the fur was invented, but it makes it so much cheaper to match. All you have to do is cover the boots with the fur. Because each of those boots are like almost $200.00!

Yicks! Poor little cheap raccoons.

Hahahaha! They’re not real fur!

What’s the worse hit up line you ever got?

Hahaha… Oh man!

I remember I was walking in downtown Santa Barbara and there are some pubs there where you drink outdoors. This stupid guy stopped me and said “Do you have a quarter?” This was when payphones were only 25 cents. Anyhow, I looked at him and said “What?” He said “Well I need to borrow a quarter so I can call your mom and tell her what a beautiful daughter she has.” I looked at him and said “DUMBASS!” and walked off.

Oh damn that pick up line is a good one! You sure that wasn’t the best one you heard because I’m going to use that one.

What would be your drink at the bar?

Ummm… not sure what that is. Thought it would be Sex on the Beach. What would be your song at the club that would make you say “That’s my song!”?

To be honest with you, when I go-go I hear all the songs. Over and over and over. I really don’t have a song anymore.

I know you go-go with Sasha Singleton and Lisa Kaye. If you’re stranded out in the ocean on a small raft that can only hold 2 people. Your on the raft and Sasha and Lisa is in the waters…. who would you save?

I was only kidding…. I was trying to blackmail you. So you were born in Beijing, China. The 2008 Summer Olympics is taking place there as we speak. Any favorite sport?

Not really. I haven’t watched it. When I was in Beijing last year, all I hear was Olympics this and Olympics that. Took all the excitment out of it.

Let’s go into cars. If you had to choose a car thats either slow and show or fast and furious?

I’d pick a mini van. I’m not big on cars really.

It was at Highlands club, but it wasn’t really me in the fight. More like this girl punched me when I didn’t even know her. Later I found out she tried to get with my ex boyfriend and he turned her down. So she was bitter.

Guess your not clumsy. Thought those boots would atleast cause a fall one time in your life.

I wear uggs under my boot covers. Because I’m already tall and don’t need big boots.
