August 6th has come to be known as a day of celebration for anyone who owns a Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, or the old school style where the new gets the inspiration from, the Toyota AE86. Since the FR-S and BRZ have been introduced to the market, they have taken over as far as the streets and events worldwide. They definitely took over SEMA in their first year, and we see no slowing down as it is still one of the more affordable cars out to to get into and start building from day 1.
Mod Auto hosted the event this year, and quite a few made it out to celebrate. ModAuto is a shop based out of La Habra, CA and serves as a shop to help enthusiasts get out of the “Stock Phase”. “ModAuto exists to serve car enthusiasts who believe that stock simply is not good enough” as you would see on their website, and from the builds that were in attendance, they stand by that meaning.
