At 14 years strong, Extreme Autofest has become more than just a San Diego tradition for enthusiasts, it has become a part of their Automotive Culture. The reputation of this event definitely withstands the test of time, with the quantity of show cars that come out to compete year after year; Over 600 registered cars were in attendance this year.
Qualcomm Stadium was the backdrop for many photos taken, a cloudy San Diego sky and perfect weather made for an awesome day. One of our newest R1 Ladies Erica Law, was side by side with our show stoppers: Kairi Dreme, Jenna Lane, and Brittani Paige. Big Abe also made his way in and represented the R1 Brand with our Signature Series Big Brake Kit laced around his neck. At our booth we gave away 4 sets of our Brake Rotors and Pads, and the ladies took photos with all their fans.
This year Extreme Autofest brought out some new types of entertainment on top of the usual Lowrider “Jump” contest, and the large Car Show Competition, with the new “Extreme Vape Contest”. With the uprise in “Vaping”, brought out a tremendous amount of people to compete in creating the best “Vape Cloud”. The Godfather of Bay Area Hip Hop: Too $hort, headlined the event and the crowd ran to the stage as he came on and made for a truly memorable show. The #StoppingTheWorldTour2014 stopped in San Diego, CA with many sponsored rides on hand, and our models brought the party to our booth. With yet another successful event in the books, we look forward to seeing all of our supporters at the next! Stay tuned…
