As the summer season comes to an end a new season begins. I’m not talking about the weather but rather sports.  The fall season is the beginning of the leagues fastest growing sport in America. No, I am not talking about the NBA or MLB postseason. I am talking about a league that requires no athletic abilities, a league that has no age limit.  Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Fantasy Football! – one of America’s fastest growing pastimes. A sport that started out as cottage industry, but now is dominated by the media. Major TV networks and sports print publishers have gotten in the game providing new player profiles and other helpful software to further enhance the Fantasy Sport.

Fantasy Sports in general has made such an impact on how us Americans view and participate in Sports coverage.  Before, we use to just root for our beloved home teams and stand by them through thick and thin, well most of us did. Now, many sports fans draft their fantasy teams from players across the entire league, creating a roster of super fantasy teams ready for competing. This allows for a more diverse set of fans loving more than just their home team but giving individual players and other teams love and recognition across the entire league. “I use to never watch Football, now I can’t wait for the season to start so we can pick out players for my team,” said Sales Rep. D. Long.  “This is so addicting, man I can’t wait,” and we were still in mid-July when he said this.

According to The Fantasy Football Times, “Fantasy Football is one of the fastest growing segments of the entire sports industry, and has become a billion dollar industry. It has brought football fans interaction with the sport they love to a whole new level that has never been achieved before by any other professional sports league in the world.” Man oh man, I can’t wait either!

A person may have worked long hours and are tired after work. Then one day his/her car breaks down and it costs an “arm and a leg” to repair it.  A person would probably rather purchase a new vehicle. The hardest parts is to make time to go to the dealership and then tries to wheel and deal to get a good price and maybe don’t know what expect with the financing, fees, add-ons, taxes and the hurried, pressured nature of the dealership.

How do you know if you are getting ripped off? You might not know you are getting ripped off until after you have purchased the car, and that can be really frustrating.  How do you avoid it? How about hiring an auto broker who is more experience and knows how the dealerships work to get you a good deal on a brand new or used car.

Auto brokers usually charge a fee for their services.  One thing you should do is negotiate an agreement for a flat fee service.  This way, the broker only makes money when he/she finds a great deal for you and doesn’t increase the fees when you are put in a more expensive car. Fees for these services usually can start at $200 and can go as high as $1,000, based on the car you’re buying and whether it is a new or used model.

These charges may be worth it in the busy lives of a person. You can easily tell a broker what type of vehicle, model, color, add-ons requests like black interior leather seats, navigation system, and so on, and then let the broker do all the researching to find you the car you desire. Also, if you’re not a professional car buyer, why walk into a dealership and try to negotiate with a professional car seller only to get conned.

I personally had a good experience with an auto broker.  I hired a person who worked for a company called, ‘Car Source Auto Broker’. I didn’t pay the dealership ticket price plus fees or the lowest price, but I paid an estimated $1500-$2000 cheaper than the ticket price after all the taxes, registrations, and other fees.  With the convenience, no hard work, and money saved, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend.

Once an auto broker gets a good deal on a brand new or used car, a person may get excited and might want to tune up the look by getting rims, a spoiler, R1concepts premium drilled/slotted rotors, body kits, to make the car look nice, clean, and styling.

It was a saturday night and there was nothing to do. So I’ve decided to watch a movie rather then spend the saturday night at home doing nothing. I search up on what’s playing and saw that “Step Brothers” just came out this passed weekend (July 25, 2008). I love stupid funny movies but I’m not a big fan of Will Ferrel. His movie seems to get lamer and dumber each time. It seems WIll is trying too hard to be funny from his old movies like ”Blades of Glory,” and “Semi-Pro.”  I loved him in “Old School.” But I decided to give Will another chance.

The movie is about a 39 year old man (Brennan Huff-Will Ferrell) that still lives with his mom (Nancy Huff-Mary Steenburgen) and a 40 year old man (Dale Doback-John C. Reilly) that still lives with his dad (Robert Doback-Richard Jenkins). Nancy and Robert are both single parents which fell in love at some conference they attended. They get married and moved in together. That’s when all hell broke loose in the house because of Brennan and Robert.

These 2 guys are like 9 year old boys that loves to do nothing but stay home and play. The story goes on with these 2 boys breaking up their parents’ marriage and have confrontations with Nancy’s other successful son (Derek-Adam Scott). The 2 boys have to share rooms, get a job, and move out.

When I say boys, these 2 guys really do act like it. Both of them sleep walking, fighting, watch tv and scratch their privates, and playing like little boys. Brennan and Robert realize it’s time for them to grow up and have to get their parents back together.

Martin’s Reviews:

I won’t go more into the story incase you haven’t watch the movie yet. But there are many surprising, funny, and shocking moments. The preview actually only showed you the softer side of the movie. So this movie was funnier and more entertaining then I thought it would be. Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly looks more like brothers then step brothers.

My grade for this movie is a B-. If your a fan of Will Ferrel or looking for a movie with good laughs, I would recommend you to watch it.

We hope everyone in Southern California is safe and sound from this 5.8 magnitue earthquake that just hit us out of Chino Hills in San Bernardino County.  It been way too long and it finally came.  The earthquake was felt all the to Los Angeles, Simi Valley, San Diego. and Las Vegas.  To know how intense the earthquake was in your area, please click here, and mouse over where you were at.  Our building was shaking a bit for a few good, seemed to be very long, seconds.  We’re glad that all of our pallets racks and shelves are bolted to the ground and secured to for these type of situations.  We very shock but calmly made it out of the building to a safe area.

What a wake up all it was today!  When the 5.8 magnitude quake that hits us at 11:42 a.m. another 10 aftershocks occured as well.  Cell phones are weren’t working for a few minutes, so we hope everyone had a chance to call their love ones to make sure everything is ok.

We had a evacuation plan, so hopefully everybody did to.  If not, it’s not to late to make one!  Be safe everyone.  I’m still jitters by it!  Here is a history of California Earthquake from 1769-Present.  Researchers were right its been way too long since we had an Earthquake.  -Just hopefully this was a biggest one that hits, but Mother Nature is uncontrolable.

FYI many of you didn’t know the brakes rotors and pads for the new gen Dodge Charger is the same body frame as the Dodge Magnum and the Chrysler 300(C).  Dodge Magnum (which is now out of production) and the Chrysler 300(C) majority of the automotive parts same to each other as well.  The only big difference is exterior design and some of its interior as well.  Can’t forget to add that the Charger is also a much lighter car, so it’s a bit faster than the Magnum and Chrysler 300(C).  So remember to match up the engine size, either 2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L or 6.1L and you find the same brake components for these three bad-ass rides.  We did not have the new gen Dodge Charger, or 300(C) listed on the website, so many customers had to call in and ask if we do.  -And yes! We’re getting the listing added.  Also, if you don’t find what you’re looking for you can call toll free 1-888-R1CONCEPTS or click on Live Person to chat with a online rep.
